Happy Mercy Day! Today we looked at 2 more questions on solving equations with 3 variables from Section 1.9 and from the LC HL Paper 2013.

Missed class due to choir

Sir on the class work I was in choir .. But on one of the last steps your subbing in x=3 how so ?

For my homework part one I got an answer of 3x=17 do I put a 0 (zero) where there is not a variable eg (x,y,z) ?

Yes it is good to put 0x etc if there is no value to line up in the elimination step. In q. 21 part 1 x = 3
